Sliding Air Containment Doors — FAQ

What are sliding air containment doors used for?
They are aisle-end doors that help maintain cold or hot aisle containment by reducing bypass air while still allowing smooth access for staff and equipment.
Do these doors work with both CAC and HAC?
Yes. Testrite’s sliding doors are designed for cold aisle (CAC) and hot aisle (HAC) applications and integrate with panel or curtain systems.
How do you minimize air leakage around the door?
We use brush/seal packages at the jambs, header, and threshold, plus a soft-close assist that helps the panel seat consistently for a better seal.
Can security cameras see through the doors?
Yes. The doors use clear panels to maintain visibility and support camera sightlines into the aisle.
What sizes and finishes are available?
Doors are built to your required dimensions and offered in anodized aluminum or custom powder-coated finishes, including black or matched RAL/PMS colors.
What hardware options are included?
Standard packages include a magnet hold-open and a soft-close piston, with guided track hardware for smooth operation.
